The Waterfront is situated in the heart of Kampung Hulu, which is now an up and coming area for tourism, located next to the popular, Jonker Street with the oldest mosque in Malacca (among the oldest in the country) situated directly opposite.

Kampung Hulu is home to new restaurants, cafes, street food, and bars lined up along the river.
