Mumu is a real gem. The spacious and cozy room is built of wood and tin in real Fisherman style and is decorated with bamboo. It has a king-size bed, mosquito net, fan, table, chairs, hammock and a simple but convenient bathroom with cold water. Mumu is located on the second floor on the street side. But due to its high location it provides a magnificent sea view (check out the pictures), but it can also get pretty hot under the roof when the sun is shining. The wall facing the sea is open. It allows you to watch the sun rising up above the horizon and the low tide changing into high from the comfort of your bed. It gives a feeling of freedom, open space and natural airflow. But open walls can also mean that some little friends (ants, gecko's etc.) are able to join you. If you are happy to share and you enjoy living in an open area and being surrounded by nature, you will love Mumu. The stairs leading up to the room can be a challenge if you are unfit or have some problems with legs or back (see pictures).

All guests have access to an outdoor kitchen with fridge and gas stove. You might want to practice your newly-acquired Thai cooking skills or just take a break from Thai food and cook something from back home. Next door to your house you can buy the freshest fish, squid and shrimp straight from the fisherman or you can indulge in local markets where you explore local fruit, veggies, spices, curries and other familiar and totally new ingredients.

In the kitchen area there is a table where you can sit down and enjoy your food, but you are also welcome to have your meal on the beautiful deck.

You share the kitchen and the deck with guests in the two other rooms. Therefore we require all guests to keep the kitchen and the deck tidy, to clean up after cooking, and to be considerate of each other and the neighbours.
