Vanilla House is a simple yet charming guest house nestled in Vanilla Village. It is a quiet place sheltered by large acacia trees, with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
It caters especially for visitors looking for an authentic, rustic experience but with all of the luxuries that they are used to. It provides a different perspective of Mauritius; a calmer and more serene atmosphere but with the familiar sense of hospitality that adds to the charm of the island.
In addition to your en-suite room, you have access to the swimming pool, a luxuriant garden and the outdoor café.
Our guest house is especially suited for visitors who are looking for an authentic shabby chic experience with all its refinements and simplicity while on holidays in Mauritius.
Accommodation at Vanilla House consists of 9 en suite guest rooms, all equipped with a kitchenette and an independent toilet. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, a fan, a television, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster. Accommodation is limited to 2 persons (+ a baby aged between 0 and 2 years.) Accommodation of children is possible with 2 pairs of communicating rooms.
Our guests also have the opportunity of using our lounge to meet up with friends or to relax with an exciting book from our library, boasting with more than 1,000 books to choose from.
WIFI access is free and available in the rooms and common areas.
Under a beautiful Red Acacia tree, the common area is pleasant to relax by the pool during the day.
At Vanilla House the air is filled with the relaxing smell of trees which sets the place with a nice atmosphere. Our guests can also enjoy the sea, beaches, mountains and the picturesque villages of Black River, Le Morne, Chamarel and the Black River Gorges which surround Vanilla Village.
