Broadbeach is the main spot on the Gold Coast for fun family activities and entertainment, good food and wine, and surf beaches. It's the best base from which to explore the Gold Coast, as it has fantastic travel options, such as the light rail, which connects to the train line, and buses heading out in all directions, as well as cab ranks, Ubers, and rental car options.

Head north to the popular theme parks, or inland on a winery tour in the surrounding hinterland, or visit the Q1 building in Surfers Paradise, which is the tallest building in the southern hemisphere, or enjoy a canal ride through the Gold Coast waterways.

The local cafés, restaurants and shopping precincts are all just a couple of minutes walk away from this central location. There is plenty to keep the family entertained with pristine surf beaches nearby, a light rail and bus station across the road (taking you to Surfers, Southport, GC airport, Brisbane, etc), Star Casino, Gold Coast Convention Centre, Pacific Fair shopping centre (one of Queensland's biggest and best shopping centres) and the Oasis Shopping Centre.
