This is not for everyone! It is Eco tropical communal living at its best with all its creature and an outdoor feeling like its tradition in Bali. The lack of light pollution guarantees you a night sky full of stars, rice fields full of fireflies and a frog concert, which can be pretty impressive. The climate here can be very cleansing and calming in the quiet season, though it has its moments of raw and powerful energy in monsoon times thereby encompassing both the masculine and feminine energy of nature. The best spot to socialize, work away on your laptop and meet amazing and inspiring people is on the top floor of Akasha Restaurant, where on a clear day you can see the coast, so we like to joke “it has an ocean view”. If this is the first time for you in a tropical jungle we suggest that you prepare yourself, biodiversity doesn’t mean 50 types of bunnies! It means all kind of beautiful life-forms like chickens and dogs running free, frogs and geckos and yes, a lot of insects! The showers are located Outdoor and we have no air-conditioning as their is a constant cool breeze.
So being well equipped with biodegradable shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, organic bug spray and maybe some coconut charcoal to prevent your belly from being to upset from the change of the environment is essential!

Outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud, this BioArchitectural Dome is perfectly located just 15 short minutes (by car or motor bike) to the north of city center which makes for a quick ride into town. The dome is surrounded by pristine rice fields and jungle views and a typical local village.

In opposite to the concrete jungle most live in these days, the jungle here permits you to stand still, enough to observe life all around you. Still enough for you to be in the HERE and NOW ….with YOU.

Located approx. 15 mins from the center of Ubud, you will have the availability to hire a scooter or a driver on request to take to the multitude of exotic locations that make Bali such a tourist destination. Volcanoes, waterfalls, natural springs and temples are all just a short drive away. After a busy day of sight seeing or shopping at the bustling markets you have the luxury of your private retreat, surrounded only by the sounds of nature in the forest... The ultimate bedtime story!

This Dome is part of the NewEarth Haven and Akasha Restaurant which offers a high quality wholefoods/vegan/raw restaurant and events only minutes walk through the rice fields.

Our staff is trained to deliver a custom Bali experience uniquely designed to meet the needs of our guests and their specific desired interests, so don't be shy to ask.

If you're flying in, for the standard fee, we can arrange for airport transportation straight to the villa.

The dome is not the easiest location to find on a map. So, if coming from Ubud or the surrounding area we can arrange for one of our staff to meet you at a cafe and escort you to your lodging.

please note that we are surrounded by local village life which means there will be ceremonies, animals ( Cats, Dogs, Chicken... you get the picture) and rice farming all around us.
This also the home of 2 dogs and 1 cat. Our cat is helping us to keep the insects to a minimum and the dogs are well behaved, sweet and fun to have around.
