Awilihan Resort is located by the shores of Taal Lake, in Tanauan, Batangas. Awilihan is very accessible from Metro Manila--being only an hour's drive away from Makati City. While at Awilihan, guests are treated to an awe-inspiring and relaxing view of Taal Volcano island and the surrounding lake. Enjoy the country atmosphere with your loved ones and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. And for your protection, Awilhan has been granted a DOT certification, which means that we are taking all the necessary precautions to keep you safe and healthy.
Our resort only accepts one group at a time for safety and comfort of our guests. Awilihan is suitable for family and friends, company outings or planning sessions, team building activities, and memorable events such as family reunions, weddings, and birthday celebrations.
For overnight stay, each guest is provided with a single bed or mattress, a pillow and a blanket, all with fresh sheets for comfort and hygiene.
Awilihan serves a varied selection of home-cooked dishes-all at reasonable prices. Our website contains our Menu and other useful information (www.awilihanresort.com). Guests must pre-order all their meals during their stay at the resort prior to check-in date, in order to allow our kitchen staff to purchase the food ingredients fresh from the local town market. We have 13 caring and courteous staff that attend to the maintenance and operations of the resort, ably headed by our resident Manager Marilyn Jacaba (mobile: +63 905 497 1520/Landline +632-8986-6496/email:
[email protected]). We do not allow guests however to bring/cook their own food and drinks inside the resort. We do have soft drinks, beer, and wine available for purchase (also at reasonable prices) but no hard drinks like whiskey, gin, tequila, and the like for safety reasons.
There is always something to do at Awilihan that most guests wish they had stayed longer than a day. We have a gorgeous swimming pool with falls, volleyball court (field), a pool table, ping-pong table, basketball or badminton, and frisbees. For the wanna be singers in the group, we also offer videoke. But for those who are not into vigorous activities, just lounging by the pool or watching the volcano island is already relaxing and helps bring down the blood pressure.

Awilihan is the only resort in the vicinity of Taal Lake that accepts only one group at a time. And best of all, we are only an hour's drive from Makati, Metro Manila. Once you enter Awilihan, you will feel like you are in your own private getaway.
Aside from sports and recreation facilities we can also arrange to take you to the volcano island where you can take a 45-minute horseback ride which will take you to the top of the Taal volcano crater. What you will see is worth all the effort to get there. You can also visit Napayong island, which is a island filled with lush natural vegetation and a serene atmosphere.
We only accept OVERNIGHTER BOOKINGS.
Due to COVID pandemic, we are only allowing a maximum occupancy of 18 persons although pre Covid we were accepting up to 30 guests.
