This stylish 3 bedroom Trastevere terrace penthouse boasts spectacular views of the Eternal City. The modern interior design of this property provides a striking contrast with the historic buildings of Trastevere. This is the perfect option for travelers wishing to experience the historic areas of Rome. At the same time, you can still enjoy all the comforts of a modern apartment, including wifi.

The apartment, located on the 3rd and top floor of the building (without a lift) allows for a private and peaceful retreat from the busy streets below.

On entering the apartment, old features meet modern design with both wooden beam ceilings and cutting-edge design elements. The living room has a sofa, arm chairs, a small desk and a flat screen TV (there is also a subscription to Netflix!). From this area there is access to the kitchen and 2 of the bedrooms. A stair case leads up to the third bedroom and a beautiful terrace.

The kitchen is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a dishwasher, and also features carefully selected design elements, such as a gorgeous chandelier. It also offers ample cooking space. In addition to this, the apartment provides a table and chairs, where you can enjoy meals together.

From the kitchen a second stair case leads up to an upper floor study area. Here you will have a large closet with a washing machine, and a bathroom with shower at your disposal.

You will find two of the three bedrooms (all with air conditioning) on the main level, off the living room. Both of the rooms have double beds and offer a clean, neutral style. In this same area of the apartment you will also find the main bathroom for this level, which has a shower.

You can access the third bedroom, also with a double bed, from the staircase at the entrance of the apartment. The third bathroom, with a shower, is also located in this area. The apartment is children-friendly as it comes up with a high chair and a baby cot.

Perhaps one of the loveliest aspects of this Trastevere terrace penthouse is the breathtaking view. On the flower-filled terrace you can sit back and relax with a glass of wine in the evening after a busy day of touring Rome, and look out over the majesty of the city below.

The Location
The Trastevere neighborhood is a vibrant maze of typical restaurants, bars and small shops. Despite its maze of tiny cobbled streets, you won’t be lost for long. Simply follow the sounds of the crowds and you will soon find yourself in one of its piazzas.

Behind Trastevere rises the Gianicolo Hill. At the top you will find the Piazzale Garibaldi. This is a beautiful place to spend sunset, as you can watch it over the historical center and St Peter’s Dome in the Vatican.

From Trastevere you will have easy access to the Vatican. Moreover, attractions such as the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Venezia are within walking distance. In addition to this, piazzas such as Campo de’ Fiori and Piazza Navona are just minutes away. The Piazza del Popolo and Colosseum are slightly further, however also easily reachable on foot!

We especially recommend taking a midnight walk over to the Trevi Fountain. At this time the crowds will have thinned significantly, and the nighttime illuminations create a magical atmosphere as they give the fountain an almost ethereal glow.
