Stay in our nice and spacious Tuscan house for 4 to 8 persons in the historical centre of the quiet, medieval town of Monticchiello, very near Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino. The perfect spot for exploring the most beautiful part of Tuscany.

Our house in typical Tuscan style with modern accents has two floors and can ideally accomodate 6 persons.

On the ground floor there is a living room with fully equiped kitchen. There you'll also find a bedroom with kingsize double bed, and a small bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. On request the double bed can also be made up as two single beds (not separable).

On the first floor you will find a second room (junior suite) with a kingsize double bed and a living area with (sleeping) couch. There's also a third bedroom with a double bed and a big closet. Both rooms on the first floor have a view over the valley. On this floor there is a spacious second bathroom with bathtub/shower, toilet, sink and bidet.

Both floors have separate entrances but are also accessible using the stairs inside.

Monticchiello is situated in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, one of the most beautiful landscapes in all of Tuscany and part of the UNESCO world heritage. Monticchiello is a medieval fortress where time seems to have stopped. Situated in the vicinity of beautiful towns like Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino. Bigger cities like Siena, Perugia or Assisi are no more than an hours drive away or even Rome or Florence will not take longer than two hours by car or train (from Chiusi-Chianciano station).

Monticchiello itself has several excellent restaurants where you can indulge yourself in having a marvellous Tuscan lunch or diner with a nice Brunello or Vino Nobile from world famous, nearby winecities Montalcino and Montepulciano.

Monticchiello is a compact town which can easily be explored on foot. The town can easily be reached by car, which you can park on the town's (free) public parking near our house. The town centre is a limited traffic zone, but we can provide a temporary permit to enter for unloading/loading your luggage.

The area is very well suited for hiking and biking trips. Bicycles in various sizes and types can be rented nearby at a special discount for our guests.
