Broadlands Windermere Award Winning Guest House, is in the heart of the English Lake District, now a World Heritage Site. Broadlands is a traditional stone built Victorian house built circa 1885 and is located on a quiet road 2 minutes from the centre of Windermere Village and a pleasant 20 minute walk to the village of Bowness on Windermere and the Lake. Rooms feature crisp white cotton sheets and luxurious bedding, and an en suite bathroom with towels and free toiletries. The house has lovely views overlooking Ellethwaite Park. The local open-topped bus can be caught from the top of the road and the train and bus station is less a 10 minute walk away.
