If you have a car, you can probably explore more of Malacca, out of Malacca City with only 5-10min distance.
If you don't have one, it doesn't matter. Most of the main historical attractions and famous eateries are nearby.
If you are too tired to walk, there is Grab or MyCar Services Available.
