Pandukeshwar is located on the way to Badrinath, just 25 minutes from Joshimath. Famous for Yogdhyani temple which is winter abode of Lord Badrinath, and said to be constructed by Pandavas. Lord has dhyan mudra here.

PURPOSE:
Our endeavour is to provide space for people who love silence and nature. If you like to spend some time with yourself in reflection, in introspection, in meditation, then Ekant is the place for you. Situated deep in the Himalayas, surrounded by orange orchard on 3 sides, with a mountain spring flowing by, and thousands of acres of reserved forest and mountains on all sides, Ekant is the perfect place to connect your body, mind and soul to the higher power within you.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY:
Our property is located at 3-5 minutes walk from the main road. It is surrounded by orange orchard on 3 sides. A Himalayan river flows by the side of the property. Property offers supreme silence, privacy and amazing view of the valley while ensuring safety and security. Be it sunrise, day, or evening - they are so beautiful that you will never forget them.

Property is managed by my parents who are senior citizens.

It has a huge lawn where you can sit under the tree

ACTIVITIES:
Work in the orchard or the kitchen garden

Enjoy gardening and enjoy the flowers

Enjoy bonefire in the evening, go on a walk into the forest during the day, or play in the river that flows by.

Property has more than 16 fruit trees, 13 types of roses, and seasonal organic vegatables are grown in the vegetable garden on the property, for consumption.

Other plants include Tulsi, Aelovera, Apricots

You may carry a pair of binoculars to watch the wild goats grazing on the mountains, or a tiger lurking in the forest.

Visit the ancient temples-Yogdhyani badri, Vasudev mandir, Kuber mandir, and Ghantakarn mandir

Go for a walk in the village and observe the simple Himalayan life and experience local culture from a close range.

LOCATION ADVANTAGE:
Joshimath (starting point of Auli) and holy temple of Badrinath are just 30 minutes drive from our property.

Govindgath, the starting point of trek to Valley of flowers and Hemkund sahib is at 10 minutes drive.

You can use us as a base location for the above mentioned destinations as we cost 50 percent less and will give at least 2 times the value in terms of experience.

Visit us if you are on way to the above mentioned destinations (as it will cost you 50 percent less), or for just a relaxing stay in the Himalayas.

Also ideal for guest looking for a place where they would like to gain health while they are recuperating from an illness.

Ideal location for book reading, writing, thinkers, and guests involved in intellectual pursuits.

ABOUT SPACE AT THE PROPERTY:
This is a deluxe eco-suit with a double bed and attached bathroom. Room is facing orchard and the lawn. Expect amazing ambience and good basic facilities.

Heater/blower to warm the room and electric kettle for hot water is available in the room.

Bathrooms are fitted with geyser for hot water, however, if there is power cut ( which is rare except when it snows heavily), hot water will be provided through manual heating. Power backup through invertor to lightup the property is available in case of power cut.

Property is east facing with a view of the river and the mountains. This is a eco-suit made of wood ( Deodar). It ensures that the suit stay warm during cold seasons and cool when it is hot. Property provides supreme view of the river and the great Himalayan peaks.

Property is managed by my parents both of who are senior citizens.

Ideal for solo female travellers.

Host will help with local tips.

Hospital, Market, bus stand are at 5 minutes walk from the property.

GUEST RULES
We do not accommodate males only, groups. Only families and couples are accommodated. Solo male/female are allowed

Drinking, drugs, party, loud music is not allowed at the property. Smoking is allowed only in the smoking zone.

Guest will have to carry their luggage to and from the property themselves. Recommendation is to keep it light.

HOW TO REACH?
Direct bus to Pandukeshwar is available from Haridwar and Rishikesh bus stand at 4 am everyday , throughout the year.

A new helicopter service is available from Dehradun to Gaucher (40 minutes). From Gaucher it takes 4 hours to reach Pandukeshwar by bus or taxi.

Life is about beautiful experiences! Staying in Himalayas at Ekant, is one of them.

Our property is surrounded by thousands of acres of reserved forest on all sides. A river flows by the side of the property. You can go for a walk in the forest, or play in the river by the property or go to the bigger river Alaknanda (there are two Rivers in Pandukeshwar). You can go for a quite walk in any direction.

Bird watching, star gazing, Bird feeding, gardening, temple visit, village walk, meditation, bonefire, or listen to stories during your interaction with the host are some of the activities you will enjoy.

Ask for home cooked food, and enjoy seasonal fruits during your stay at a nominal charge

You will have to walk in the village. Taxis are available for Joshimath, Badrinath, and Govindgath.

For Valley of flowers and Hemkund Sahib, helicopter service is available from Govindgath, which is at 10 minutes drive from the property
