The Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary houses more than 200 species of birds, a fact of joy for the avid bird watchers.Black Woodpeckers, Malabar Grey Hornbills, Spotted Babblers, Scops Owls, The Crested Hawk Eagles, Malabar Whistling Thrushes, Falcons, Buzzards, Large Racket-Tailed Drongos are some of the birds found in this region.
