King fisher cottage is a tranquil eco cottage set on the rivers edge of 11 acres of wild farmland and beautifully landscaped gardens that offer total privacy.

The cottage has a semi-outdoor bath for bathing while star gazing, a kitchenette, living area & bedroom.

There is no wifi & minimal phone reception, the perfect place to get away and unwind an enjoy nature.

Kingfisher cottage earned it's name from the local kingfisher who lives around the cottage and will often be there to greet you, He shares his space with Pheasants, Pukeko and a Morepork who you can hear hooting through the night as well as the 2 tame fantail pigeons who may pay a visit if they suspect there is a snack in it for them!

The wider property is also home to golden bell frogs who make their presence known with a nighttime symphony of croaking.
