Surrounded by lychee orchards, hills and valleys, Normandy House is a homestay that is nested upon 25 acres of land. Proudly boasting of the vividness of nature and heritage, this abode was designed to be a getaway by a French connoisseur in 1840. With a blend of French and British decor, being here is almost like living in a different era. While it'll be hard to leave indoors, the outdoors are equally mesmerising. Bask in the radiant hues of sunset or light up the fireplace, the choice is yours!

BEDROOMS
- There are 3 bedrooms - all on the ground floor. 
- AC, WiFi, heater and attached bathrooms are offered in all rooms.
- 2 rooms offer a fireplace.
- All rooms have king-sized beds, besides one room also has a twin-bed. 

BATHROOMS
- There are 3 bathrooms in the villa - all attached.
- All bathrooms have geysers, towels and basic toiletries.
- Bathtub is offered in one bathroom. 

COMMON AREAS
- The living room seats 12 people.
- It offers a music system, WiFi, heater and fireplace.
- The dining area seats 10 people.
- There are 3 sprawling lawns with seating. 
- There is a laundry room. 

KITCHEN
- Kitchen is accessible only if the guest books the entire villa and will be charged at Rs 2000 per day.
- It is equipped with a microwave, a gas stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a water purifier, a toaster and a mixer-grinder. 
- Crockery and cutlery are available.

GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to the entire villa.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. 

FOOD
- Breakfast is complimentary. 
- All other veg meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost of Rs. 600 per person, per meal. 
- All other non-veg meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost of Rs. 700 per person, per meal. 
- Guests can also eat out in nearby restaurants like Dikra Restaurant, Riverside Restaurant, Third Eye Cafe & Restaurant and Malsi Greens Vegetarian Restaurant.

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We are unable to provide accommodation for your personal staff. 

ACTIVITIES
Within the property, guests can play indoor games like cards and ludo or gather around the fireplace. Guests can step out to explore flora and fauna including the litchi orchard or enjoy birdwatching. They can request for a bonfire to be lit up. They can also head to the clubhouse near to the villa, and play various board games, chess, carrom and badminton. 

HOME TRUTHS
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!
- The villa is relatively secluded. 
- This property is not suitable for pets. 
- In case of a power outage, the inverter can support fans and lights for up to 5-7 hours. 
- WiFi, although offered, is subject to network availability at any given time.
- Mobile networks such as Jio/Airtel work fairly well here.

ADDITIONAL COSTS
- Lunch, Snacks and Dinner can be provided in-house at an additional cost.
- Kitchen can be accessed at an additional cost of Rs.2000 per day. 
- Barbecue kit is available at an additional cost. 
- Bonfire can be arranged at an additional cost. 
- The fireplace can be used at an additional cost. 
- 1 female and 2 male staff can be accommodated in an outhouse at an additional cost of Rs.500 per person. The price is not inclusive of the meals.
