Surf Beach is a beautiful part of Phillip Island, nestled between Cape Woolamai and Smith's Beach, facing straight out to Bass Strait, Surf Beach is the home of the Premier surfing location on Phillip Island known as Surfies Point.

Located an 8 minute walk from L'Aquitaine, Surf Beach and Surfies Point is a year round Surfer's playground. In the Summer just head to nearby Smith's Beach which is patrolled by Life Guards all Summer long for safe swimming.

Of course the Grand Prix Race Circuit is also only a brief 7 minute drive from L'Aquitaine for all your motor racing or bike racing events. Phillip Island is also home to many, many other wonders to be seen and staying at L'Aquitaine is the perfect base to plan all your eciting adventures.

The house itself is so comfortable with large, comfortable living area's and spacious bedrooms you can relax in comfort before heading off to your next adventure. Complete with lots of unexpected little luxuries, L'Aquitaine is a wonder in itself. Complete with a beautiful 2 sided upstairs balcony where you can sit and take in ocean views to Bass Strait to the downstairs undercover entertaining area where you can keep cool in the Summer and have a fire pit roaring during the Winter, this house has it all!

As you drive onto Phillip Island and make your way the short distance to Surf Beach, you are already starting to feel relaxed...that's just the effect Phillip Island has on people!

You turn into our street and see L'Aquitaine for the first time...it look's perfect, 2 levels with a balcony that runs around 2 sides of the house.

You park the car and look around at the spacious block with the natural gardens and lush lawns, then head up the stairs to let yourself in. Once you're at the top of the stairs, you can't help but stop and take in the view first and you wander to the edge of the balcony and just stare into the horizon where you can see the the ocean and you take a deep breath and you feel the clean, fresh air fill your lungs and you feel even more relaxed but you can't wait to see inside now.

You retrieve the keys and unlock the house and enter into a large open plan space that is large enough to accommodate yourself and your guests easily.

There's a casual, yet stylish feel about the interior, from the 3 couches that are heaped with cushions and throw rugs along with another basket of even more cushions and throws.

A good sized TV and DVD player with plenty of DVD's to keep you amused.

The fully laid dining table looks gorgeous, with the the best dinnerware, cutlery and glassware. A complimentary bottle of wine is also provided for your enjoyment.

Amongst these obvious living requirements there are a variety of prints, clocks, mirrors and other adornments that give the space that special relaxing feel and with big, wide windows that have dark roller blinds and sun shade blinds behind them you can open up the living area and have 270 degree views around you.

In addition the to the entertainment area and dining space, there is also a fully fitted out kitchen, with fridge/freezer, microwave, upright electric cooker, toaster, coffee machine and all your tea, coffee and sugar requirements.

There are also the necessary cleaning supplies which we ask you to utilise for any spills and washing dishes.

There is a rubbish bin in the cupboard under the sink. Cooking utensils are readily available, as are BBQ utensils and pots, pans, salad bowls etc. Everything you need to cook and eat at L'Aquitaine if you prefer.

L'Aquitaine is a split level property, so from the open plan living area is a short stair case (which does have a stair guard at the top) which leads down to the remainder of the house.

At the bottom of the stairs, on the left hand side, you have the Laundry...complete with a top loading washing machine and wall mounted clothes dryer.

There is also an ironing board and in the closet, there is an iron, washing basket, broom, dustpan/small broom, mop/bucket and a vacuum cleaner.

There is also an external exit to the back yard.

Moving on through the house, next on the left is the family bathroom which also has access to the Master bedroom via the Walk in Robe.

The bathroom contains Shower, Bathtub, Toilet and Vanity along with complimentary sample size personal amenities.

The Master bedroom is located at the end of the hall and consist of a Queen size bed, electric blanket (please ensure this is turned off at the power point before you leave), walk though robe (to the bathroom), chest of drawers and a television which has unlimited Netflix connected to it.

Other items such as prints, and a full length mirror also compliment this room.

The 2nd bedroom is to the right of the Master...it contains a Triple bunk bed (a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on the top)...a good size room with built in robes, bedside table and lamp, sparsely furnished allows a spacious feel.

Again, prints adorn the walls and add character to the room!

In between the 2nd and 3rd bedroom is a separate toilet which is a real benefit when there is a number of guests staying at the same time.

The 3rd bedroom is basically a replica of the 2nd bedroom with a triple bunk.

Both of the bottom double beds are also fitted with electric blankets (again we ask that these are turned off at the power point prior to leaving).

Moving outside now, we go out and down the stairs, there is a terrific all weather entertainment area...an outdoor table and chairs, lots of spare chairs, a surfboard rack, plants, decking and a fire pit. This is the perfect place to hang out in the Summer or even the Winter with a fire going!

The large backyard is great for the kids to play a ,game of backyard cricket or a kick of the footy. There is a rotor clothesline to hang out your washing and native garden along the fence lines.

L'Aquitaine is everything you could possibly want out of a Holiday home near the beach! It has the technology that we are used to having now, but it has the innocence of holidays from our youth....just PERFECT!

Surf Beach is a village on Phillip Island which is a holiday destination with a BIG reputation. There are so many things to do on the Island aside from the all the things in our title.

* Explore - Just hop in the car and drive around, there are so many more things to see and do...Just do it!

The island has very little in the way of a public transport network.

The Cowes Line bus runs six times each way weekdays, and four times on weekends; it travels between Cowes and Wonthaggi, via Anderson and San Remo along Phillip Island Road.
