Spacious cottage in a secluded place, well located in southern Iceland. The cottage is near Hekla, Landmannalaugar, Fjallabakur and many more famous places. Cozy cottage surrounded by a nice nature. You have almost everything you need in this cottage. It's just like a studio apartment. Well equipped kitchen with a small fridge, 2 element ceramic cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and all the kitchenware that's needed. You can use all the coffee and tea you need.

Queen size bed for two people, 43" TV on the wall to watch Netflix or the local TV station (RÚV). Duvets and duvet covers will be ready along with a sheet on the bed. Two cozy armchairs for chilling. The dining table can be upsized (doubled) if you have friends staying in the other houses to have meal with you or just a chat over a cup of coffee.

Private bathroom with a toilet, shower and a nice lighting mirror over a sink. Towels are included. Hand- and bathsoap are ready to be used.

Mount Hekla is located in the highly active volcanic zone along the south shore and is the most active volcano in Iceland with more than 20 eruptions since 874. From the cottage there is a great view of Hekla, only a about 17 km straight view.

In the winter we recommend to be drive in a good 4X4 car with winter tires. Drive safely. Parking spots are by the house.
