Our two bedroom cottage cuddled into nature in Húsavík suburb with a breathtaking view serves as a tiny home, away from home where you have a lot of privacy and comfort in as close proximity to the spirit of nature as possible.

The location is extraordinary as it has breathtaking view, abundant bird-life, spectacular nature and wildlife, country comfort and urban activities and service in town.
Walking paths are along the lakes and to surrounding places.

DESCRIPTION:
The house is on one floor (30 sqm, plus a 10 sqm terrace) with 2 bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with 2 single beds, a small cozy living room with a sofa and a dining table.

Table, chairs and charcoal barbecue are outside on the veranda.

The house has a private bathroom with a shower, and a kitchenette with all necessary cooking facilities to prepare small meals.

Standard equipment includes TV/radio, internet connection, iron, hair dryer, hot and cold water, electricity and geothermal heating.

AMENITIES:
We try to have all the amenities needed and some extra things, like hangers, shelves and hooks to get rid of the stuff.
For us, it is also very important to provide our guests with healthy living environments, free of fragrance, mold, chemicals and smoking to suit people who suffer from allergies, respiratory problems or chemical sensitivity. When we clean the houses and wash the bed linen etc, we use only natural fragrance free non toxic products.

SELF CATERING:
Included in the price is SELF CATERING bed linens and towels.
Most of our guests appreciate the economic possibility of self catering. Some, especially late arrivals, appreciate to be able to get some extra service, like made-up bed or light breakfast. Please, contact us if you would like to have any of the extra services.

We live in a house next to the place, so you can always count on us to give you hand, a local advice or whatever you need.
We respect people´s privacy and want their stay to be peaceful, so we do not disturb you during your stay :-)
