Set in an old Goan-Portuguese style property with a newly renovated home, enjoy the outdoors beside a lap pool with space to work and play. The house has several traditional Goan sit-outs called "soppos" where you can relax and enjoy a book or get some sun! Each room has its own vibe: watch the evening sun stream through traditional coloured glass windows our "loft bedroom" or secret yourself away from everyone in the traditional goan room with a tiled roof and it's own private soppo. The main room has a gorgeous old 4-poster bed, and traditional furniture, with some modern touches. All the rooms have brand new en suite bathrooms. If you need to get some work done in quiet each of the rooms has it's own workspace, as well as a common office where you can take printouts or a conference call in the quiet. If you get tired of your own company come mingle with other guests in our common living space and kitchen area. Oh! and our old doggie Tasha is always there to keep an eye on things. Goa has several options for tourists to rent self driven cars and bikes. If you have either of these, we offer on site parking for your vehicle. if you're the city type who doesn't ride or drive, you can always download the "Goa Miles" app. our version of Uber/Ola. and if you're really adventurous you can rent bicycles to ride around the lanes in the village. We are located in a village in Arpora, with one of the oldest "english" medium schools in Goa. Walking distance from the famous "Saturday Night Market" and with easy access to the bustle of the main road to Baga and Calangute, it still enjoys a level of peace that is getting harder to find. There are several quaint bars and restaurants nearby where you can chill with the locals if you want to avoid the crowds of tourists. Las Vegas supermarket is your go-to for any supplies you may need. There are several pathways and relatively easy trails around for mild treks if you enjoy walking and the beaches are less than a 10 minute ride or drive away. We don't allow smoking inside the rooms, however, smokers are free to smoke outside the rooms in the rest of the property. We are pet friendly, however, we also have an old, and sometimes cranky dog. So as long as your pet can get along with other dogs, they're welcome. (we do however, charge an extra cleaning fee for pets)
