About This Hotel

The Mountain House Cy

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Away from all the city noise, it's the perfect place to relax! Ideal for nature lovers, wine lovers, yoga lovers, families, solo travelers or just about anybody really!

The house is very spacious and cozy, located in a new neighborhood of the village. It has its own tree garden with organic fruits and it's just next to the Vouni Panayia Winery.
In the morning you can enjoy some fresh organic eggs from our chickens and in the evening a glass of wine with some fresh fruits

Guests are allowed to use all the rooms and garden area

I'm usually around the area, but even if not don't hesitate to reach out for anything either by giving a call or texting me

Within a 20-minute distance there are 4 wineries, the Chryssorogiatissa Monastery, and wine routes and other hiking routes among other things guests can easily access. A mountain called "Vouni" was awarded then EDEN award in 2009.

There is a mini market for essentials in the village two coffee shops and a café for enjoying a drink or a brunch!

The village is great for relaxing walks as it offers peace and quiet and a picturesque landscape.

Archbishop Makarios (the first president of the Republic of Cyprus) was born in the village and his house is now a museum for guests to visit.
Another museum dedicated to Archbishop Makarios is also open for guests to see more about his life and the history of the island.

The Paphos forest with many pick-nick areas, and its famous endangered Mouflons are less than half an hour from the village.

The place is reachable by Bus, but I recommend having a car to explore the beauties of the area

Panagia is a mountainous picturesque village in Cyprus, located at an altitude of 900m in the Paphos mountain range, at the outskirts of Paphos forest and just 35 minutes from Paphos International Airport.

Today the village is known for its unique wildlife, amongst which is the Mouflon, species which is protected by Cyprus and International laws because it is an endangered species. It is also known for the viticultural zone Vouni Panagias, which is considered by the wine connoisseurs in Cyprus as one of the best on the whole island.

The historical Chrysoroyiatissa Monastery is nearby. Other interesting sights include the various local wineries, the monastery of Agia Moni and the Vouni Panagias Nature Trail, which begins at the town square, and takes three hours to complete.

Information on what guests can do in the area are also available in our guidebook
