This is a just renovated apartment in the historical center of Lisbon in the vibrant neighborhood of Bica on the Tram 28 line, just at the bottom of Bairro Alto and next to the famous Santa Justa! While you are very close to all of the fun that Bairro Alto has to offer, this is the quieter part of the center, and also has plenty of great things near by. The apartment was designed with travelers in mind and has all of the comforts and items you would need to feel at home away from home! There are two bedrooms with double beds, a comfortable, pretty living room which also has a sofa bed, and a separate kitchen and dining area with full appliances. Washer, Dryer,Wifi,Netflix,Linens,Towels, Nespresso are all included. The apartment is in a really great neighborhood just a short walk away from attractions. Cais do Sodre is a very short walk away as well so if you want to go to see beautiful Belem and go to the beach in Cais Cais and Estoril, or grab a train and do some day trips to Sintra and surrounding little towns, this is a very convenient location to be in.
The neighborhood is a typical ancient Portuguese street with quaint, little cobblestone streets, and colorful buildings which are several centuries old. There are lots of really good authentic Portuguese and Brazilian restaurants just downstairs, the famous Caldo Verde soup spot is right around the corner, it is an old favorite of locals, especially on a rainy day, but also after a fun night out partying ;)
This neighborhood is beloved of the locals, so there are also lots of really cool and trendy restaurants, shops and bars around, as well as the famous food market which is by the river.
Everything from this point is walking distance and we strongly recommend getting lost and wandering around Lisbon's charming old streets, but there are trams, buses, as well as the train station, which is right by the apartment.
