The former inn from 111 years ago is now revived and brought back to life as an accommodation to host international travelers. Located in the heart of old town Kujo Osaka, this perfect fusion of the old and modern features urban greenery and ecological housing. We hope you enjoy this historical yet modern "MACHIYA" as much as we do.

The ground floor of this two-story townhouse "CoCoNoTo" consists of a large "DOMA" (typically an area within traditional Japanese house with a floor of pounded earth, but now it's tiled) and a restored "KAMADO" which is a traditional Japanese stove typically made with clay and sand. This stove does not function anymore, but there's a modern eat-in kitchen adjacent to the "DOMA". Other things located on the ground floor includes bathroom (shower and tub), toilet, powder room, washer. The 2nd floor consists of 3 bedrooms that are connected to one another in line and partitioned by "FUSUMA" sliding doors. Two "TATAMI" rooms and one flooring room. We have 5 sets of cozy "FUTONS" to lay on the floor, plus a single size loft TATAMI bed & two single sized MUJI beds.There's a small balcony on the 2nd floor where you can dry your laundry.
