Lovely 1 double bedroom apartment with kitchen/lounge area situated very close to Canterbury West Station and just a few minutes’ walk to the city centre providing an ideal base from which to spend a relaxing time in the medieval city of Canterbury. It's ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and small families. Also bus stop towards Uni of Kent is 5 minutes’ walk from the flat. Self-served coffee, tea and sugar available for free during your stay. Shampoo, professionally laundered and ironed bed linen and towels are provided. The property also includes: - a lounge with a sofa bed for upto 2 guests, coffee table, TV. - a fully-equipped kitchen with kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, hob, mini fridge, pans, cooking utensils, crockery. A washer/dryer is also available. There's also a wall-mounted table and stools if you want to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the morning. - a bathroom with bath and shower, toilet rolls and hand soap are provided. - a travel cot is available for free on request (no bedding provided for the cot). Our on-site lockboxes and online and on the phone support mean that you can arrive quickly, easily and socially distanced. Before your arrival we will send you all the details you need to check in to the property including any access codes and the code for the lock box to access the keys. This will arrive via email a few days before your stay. We are also only a short email or phone call away should you need us to answer any questions you have about the property or local area. Canterbury is a historic university city famed for its magnificent Cathedral and a place of cultural pilgrimage and is a cosmopolitan and vibrant place. The apartment is convenient located just 5 minutes walk from the high street and moments away from the Canterbury West rail station with its excellent "Goods Shed" farmers market and restaurant. There are numerous lovely local pubs, restaurants and attractions within 10-15 minutes walk of the apartment, including the University of Kent, Canterbury Cathedral, Kings School, The Westgate Towers, the Marlowe Theatre and the River Stour. The flat is also located a few minutes walk to bus stop serving the University of Kent, Whitstable, Herne Bay and Margate to explore other areas in Kent. If you are driving, there's an area were you can temporarily stop to drop off your luggage but there's no private car parking space. We recommend you park on Kingsmead Car Park (Canterbury CT1 1BN).
