INTERIOR STYLING by a well travelled designer & artist, "Your Bali Home" is a unique private home in the centre of Ubud, but positioned perfectly secluded from the noise & dust. The rooms all open onto a central (hand coloured cement) pool space with decking. The space is serene & filled with artworks both from around the globe & produced by the host, featuring her 20+year old textile collection. Comfort, elegance & humour infuse every corner.

We follow agoda’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights:

We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists
I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay

There are 2 entrances to the villa,
1. use street stairs on the MAIN road. (reasonably steep) OPPOSITE Seniman coffee and above and behind SISI BAG SHOP
2. entrance via a small lane with ramp (steep NO STAIRS) To find this entrance, continue from Stairs at location (1.) go straight 20m and turn 1st street right. then take 1st laneway right. then 1st laneway right again and walk up a ramp 20m to find the BLUE DOOR.

Car parking is rare now in Ubud, you are able to find parking around but will need to walk to the house.

You have access to the entire villa which includes the fully equipped kitchen, lounge area, dining area, pool & deck plus multi-use yoga/ meditation space, open-air pool- outdoor shower near the temple & extra toilet. You are free to come & go as you please & there's wi-fi.

Please use the shower prior to swimming

Seldom do we have face to face interaction with guests. Because when you are renting the entire villa we are not around! but we very happy to make suggestions via email or even better option is if you read our inhouse book that have other guests favourite experiences, menus , restaurants and spas!!

The house owners may come for special days to place their offerings and blessings for the house and also you :-) ONLY in the small temple only (you can see from the kitchen) but will not come inside.
This can be seen as a blessing!!

Jalan Sri Wedari in an area the locals call 'Taman Kelod' (South Garden). It is a prime location from which to explore most of the best of Ubud by foot. You're sure to enjoy both the bustle of Ubud market a few minutes walk away (visit from 05:00-07:30 am for the traditional food market; for souvenirs the market opens until sunset) & the Ubud Palace is less than 5 minutes walk. Countless cafes, restaurants & shops create a diverse & interesting collage of experiences, as do the many local Balinese who call the neighbourhood home - you'll see the young & old taking in the street scenes at various times of the day, always ready with a smile for the visiting 'Tamu' (translates as guests).

The house is smack in the middle of Ubud - you can walk EVERYWHERE! If feeling lazy or in a hurry, scooter or car drivers are available on the spot to take you where you need to go, & for out of town adventures or family-friendly transport, drivers can be pre arranged to chauffeur you around the town or the entire island! For more independence, rent motor bikes/scooters or bicycles for around $5 per day or even your own car from $30per day. To get to know the interesting local characters better, jump a Bemo (shared tiny bus) from the main street for a unique ride out of town.

NOISE AND FUN!!
Your Bali Home is located next door to a beautiful Balinese temple which comes alive with the entranced sounds of "Cecak fire dance" singing/performance each Wednesday and Saturday night at 730-830pm. You can of course purchase tickets to watch the show from inside the temple OR simply sit in the house (even in the pool) & be transported elsewhere by this unique sound.
