Set on a hill overlooking Val d’Orcia, a Unesco World Heritage, Castello Di Velona is a restored 10th-century castle. It features a Tuscan restaurant and a 1500 m2 spa centre (Additional charge). The property is also reachable via helicopter and there is a helipad on site. The Velona’s rooms are spacious and luxuriously furnished, offering views of Tuscan vineyards. They are uniquely decorated with antique furniture and embroidered fabrics. Each one is air conditioned and features a log fire, a marble bathroom, and satellite TV channels. The rooms located in the new wing of the castle include a patio and a spa bath in the bathroom. The Castello offers regional cuisine, accompanied by the property's own Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino wines and extra virgin olive oil.
