Serene farmstay in Broga, surrounded by forest reserve. Just less than an hour drive from the buzzling KL city life. You can see the forest right in front of you from the patio. There are many waterfalls and hiking spots nearby. Yoga session could be arranged during your stay here. A wabi-sabi inspired space. concept of the architecture is to blend-in to the natural environment surrounded by the forest. The bamboo hall is a natural building made of the most environmental friendly building material such as bamboo (main building structure) and `Atap Rumbia' leaf (roofing). You can also see the usage of other natural building material such as using clay and rice straw to build the cob oven for baking pizza, using wood and clay to build the kitchen island countertop, using tree brunches to make chandelier and etc. There is also a Balinese-style red-brick wall outdoor 'open-sky' bathroom where you can enjoy the sun and the blue sky while taking a bath. There are many famous restaurants nearby, which you should give it a try when you are here. Having said that, if you wish to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with basic utensils, cutleries and a fridge. A BBQ pit is also available with wire mesh and skewers, you just need to bring your own charcoal. We can share the knowledge of the natural buildings in the farm. Broga has become a new tourist attraction over the years. It is located less than an hour drive from the buzzling KL city center. It is a small town with lots of charms and culture. It is surrounded by mountains and forest, which make it a perfect place for hiking. You can reconnect to the mother nature, relax your mind and regain your internal peace here. There is also a huge waterfall which is only 12 mins drive from the homestay. There is a very famous Taoism temple nearby with a Guinness record statue on top of the hill. There is also a huge hanging bridge next to the temple. There are many famous restaurant in the neighborhood, where you can enjoy lots of local delicacies and BBQ fresh water fish. Broga has lots of orchard and seasonal fruits are always available along the road side. The farm has enough parking space for all the guests. Guests will park their cars in a dedicated parking area (unlimited parking spaces) in a resort and walk about 120 meters to the cottage. The mobile signals here are weak as we are located next to the forest. Be prepared to put away some of your electronic devices, immerse yourself in the nature and have a quality bonding time with your family and friends.
