Close to everything Matamata has to offer, large, modern space which can accommodate up to seven people. Ten minutes drive to Hobbiton. Peaceful, country views, just on the edge of town. Continental breakfast included - tea, coffee, juice, freshly baked bread for toast, yoghurt, cereal, fruit. Large parking area, suitable for a boat or RV, larger vehicle, or multiple vehicles if a group is staying. We are next door if you need us, or you can enjoy the peaceful privacy.

One queen bed, and five more singles available. Well set out to accommodate one person, couples, groups, and families. Because the space is large and well set up, it can easily cater for professionals or groups working away. There is a separate bathroom, large kitchenette area, two comfortable seating areas, bar fridge and large fridge, especially useful for groups, and also a freezer. There is an office desk, and printing is available on request. Two heat pumps keep the whole area lovely and warm in winter, or nice and cool in summer. A lovely park is right next door and the space looks out on it. WiFi, 65 inch smart TV with Netflix, etc. There is a pool table and board games for your entertainment.

Parking is free, off street right outside your front door.

Around 10 minutes drive to Hobbiton, and Wairere Falls. Cycle the Matamata - Paeroa cycle trail, visit the Opal Hot Springs, or Firth Tower and Museum. Under an hour to Tauranga or Mt Maunganui, Hamilton or Rotorua, around two hours to Auckland CBD. Ample dining options, restaurants, takeaways, all just a couple of minutes drive away, or a ten minute walk. If you wish to check in early or check out late, we will accommodate this if possible. We can store luggage if you want to travel away, and then return. If you are arriving to town by bus, we can collect you and drop you off by arrangement, there is no fee for this. We may also be able to airport collect and drop off if you are flying in as a service by arrangement. We can also drop you off and pick you up from Hobbiton, or an event you may be attending as a service by arrangement. For larger groups staying longer term, home-made dinners are available three nights per week by arrangement, and laundry can be done by arrangement. If you are celebrating a special event, we can put any extra items in for your arrival on request, flowers, champagne, chocolates, etc please enquire if this is the case. There is an outside power point, and also a hose if you wish to wash your vehicle.
