Therefore, you won’t need a scooter or driver and can easily go out spontaneously.

Everything is within walking distance, whether you want to stroll through town and look at the little souvenir stands, want to watch the sunset with your feet in the sand or go out for a drink/dinner at one of the many bars and restaurants.

Back at the tranquility of the villa, listening to the serene sound of the waterdrops from the decorative water feature, the singing birds in the trees, overlooking the rice fields, enjoy a refreshing dive in the private pool, unwind with a good book or disconnect and feel rejuvenated. The staff is delighted to cook lunch and dinner for you, weather traditional Balinese or Western cuisine, there is no additional cost you only pay the food cost. If you wish to discover the secrets of the local, traditional cuisine, a workshop can be arranged against an additional charge. Join the staff in the morning to the market to purchase and learn about the ingredients. Smell, taste and see the local spices and herbs and gain an understanding how these are used in the Balinese cuisine.

Villa Pondok Maica is a luxurious 3-bedroom villa which has been designed and decorated with precision and care. All bedrooms have individual air-conditioning units, ensuite bathrooms with rain shower and a small safe for valuables. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, while the third bedroom has two twin beds. All rooms can also be individually locked, however please keep in mind that the staff then will be not able to make the bed, change linen, or clean the bathroom. The living room with smart tv, comfortable sofa, a small desk and is specious, light and inviting. Next to the fully equipped kitchen, in the laundry room is a washer/dryer and wine fridge. The fully covered terrace offers a lounging area with a large L-shaped sofa, a dining area which can seat up to 6, and sunbeds with a stunning view.

Finally, there is a concierge service which can assist with booking sightseeing tours, arrange transportation, book a spa treatment at home (manicure, pedicure, massage) or any other enquires you may have during your stay.

The guests can access the whole property and all amenities since its totally private.

Lovina is the main tourist town in the North of Bali, famous for black sand beaches and dolphin spotting. It is a welcome break from the bustle of the South.

The two streets forming the centre of Lovina are connected by a walking boulevard, on one side you find the beach while on the other side you walk past many shops offering all kinds of goods like sarongs, T-shirts, bracelets, necklaces, paintings and souvenirs. The villa is located in a strategic location which only requires 5 minutes drive or 10 minutes walkin to central Lovina where you will find the local and international restaurant, bar, wine shop, and other best place in North Bali. You can easily get to Lovina by car from all parts of Bali. Getting there by car with a driver is a much easier way to get to the North. You can travel from Kuta in 2,5 hours and from the airport or Sanur in about 3 hours, depending on the season and the traffic on the road.

You will travel through places such as Bedugul and could take the scenic route through Munduk if you are not in a hurry. So you could stop at a temple-like Pura Ulun Danu, twin lakes and rice paddies in Munduk on your trip and make a day of it. There are many places to stop along the way to take pictures or have a bite to eat and of course stop and feed the monkeys hanging by the mountain roads :).
