A mediaeval building overlooking River Isarco in the centre of Chiusa, family-run Walther von der Vogelweide offers alpine-style rooms and a restaurant with vaulted ceilings. A garden, disco and large terrace are available. With traditional design and light parquet floors, rooms include an LCD satellite TV and a sofa. The private bathroom features modern terracotta tiles, oval sinks and is complete with toiletries and hairdryer. Homemade apple strudel and jams, together with cold cuts and cheese feature for breakfast, which is a buffet served daily. The restaurant with a wood-burning oven and terrace specialises in South Tyrol, national and pizza dishes.
