"Nerome#01" is the first facility of YUMBARU HOTELS located in Nerome-ward, Ogimi village . This house is a Ryukyuan style traditional house that has been around 100 years old, and a Ryukyu dynasty ritual house, most of which are now lost. The property has a Buddhist altar (to-to-meh in okinawan) that is actually used. Please be aware that we have been reformed to maintain the original condition as much as possible, and for old house in nature, insects may appear in the house.
Thank you for choosing to stay at our Nerome (pronounced "neroh-meh") home. This is a traditional house in a special neighborhood that we hope will give you a unique opportunity to experience Okinawan culture. Because of your neighbors in this community have been here for a long time, and it is a conservative community. Because the house is recently restored traditional house and this is the only guesthouse in the community, we have some house rules that we hope you will follow. We are trying out hardest to reduce friction with community members so that people from the world can continue to experience this special place. Our hope is that with your help we can continue to do so.
Rules on the neighborhood: * This is a close-knit community, so please be respectful of our neighbors. We encourage you to wear conservative clothes in the neighborhood and not to walk in a bathing suit. Please avoid making loud noises, especially after 9pm. * BBQ and fireworks are not permitted on the beaches. * Please onlu use the 3 car parking spaces on the house's property. * Do not feed dogs, cats, and other animals in the neighborhood. No pets are allowed. * Also, a hazard map is available, so confirm the evacuation route in case of an emergency. * We encourage you to greet local neighbors when you encounter then around the community.
