Featuring a Mountain-style architecture with sloped ceilings, the Brown House offers bedrooms and self-catering accommodation in the stunning Peneda-Gerês National Park. With comfort and tranquillity in mind, is located amidst natural surroundings. Accommodation ranges from double rooms, to self-catering apartments and even a loft with lake views. All units are functional and feature an eclectic décor, based on sober shades. Each has a private bathroom is featured and includes free toiletries and a shower. The guests of the apartment and studio can prepare their own meals in their equipped kitchen or kitchenette. The double rooms have a mini-bar and an electric kettle. Local restaurants are available within a 5-minute drive and in Brufe, at a 20-minute drive. Guests can use the multi-level wooden terraces around the house, with tables and chairs, for reading and enjoying meals. Barbecue facilities are available. Brown House provides 2 bicycles, which guests can use to explore the natural surroundings. Upon returning to the chalet, guests can enjoy a nice cup of tea while contemplating the landscape from the terrace and using one of the available blankets to curl up with a book from the Brown House’s library. Gerês Thermal Spa is a 10-minute drive away from the house as is the entrance to the Peneda-Gerês Natural Park. São Bento da Porta Aberta is a renowned religious site, just 500 metres away and with shops and restaurants around it. The Caniçada Dam Lake is within 1 km and provides the opportunity of enjoying nautical activities. River beaches are also within 1 km. Braga is a 45-minute drive from the Brown House, while Porto International Airport is 90 km away.
