Welcome to ART Valai, our tranquil home above a valley overlooking serene rice paddies and protected forest.

Our home is built in typical Rungus style from locally sourced materials allowing sunlight & gentle breezes throughout the house. The sliding doors and spacious verandas allow both indoor & outdoor living with uninterrupted 180 degree views along the valley floor.

A stay at our home is very different to a conventional hotel or guesthouse. With no neighbours nearby you’ll have unrivalled peace & privacy. You’ll also have the freedom of plenty of space on two levels, the use of a kitchen and also plunge pool.

We have two bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. Ideally we cater to families or groups of friends but we do also rent out just one of the rooms at a time to cater for smaller bookings at a lower price.

Our name Valai in local Rungus language means a relaxing place, we believe there is no better place in Kudat to relax and unwind than ART Valai.
