As you step through the impressive entrance several aspects of the villa will immediately strike you. First of all the huge open-plan living space-kitchen-dining room with its high ceilings and stunning views. To the left are several spacious and comfortable sofas and a large curved TV with integrated AV system. Centrally there is a modern kitchen with all the latest culinary equipment you could ever need with a breakfast bar seating eight and to the right is an ornate dining table for evening meals together. As you look around you will also start to see an incredible yet discreet array of Thai arts and crafts, ornamentations and antiques and this theme carries on throughout the villa.

Visually there is a great deal to take in and of course your eyes will be drawn to the floor-to-ceiling glass stacking doors and the terrace, the shaded sala, the sun-loungers, Jacuzzi and swimming pool just beyond. And as you step towards the pool you’ll be ushered through by two life-size statues depicting characters from Thai mythology. These are known as Kinnari or Kinnaree and in Thai mythology they are depicted as young women of sublime beauty with angel-like wings. The lower part of their bodies are similar to a bird, often a swan, enabling them to fly wherever they wish, and to travel back and forth between the human and the mythical worlds. The most famous Kinnari was a heroine Princess named Menora and you will often see statues to her in prominent temples around Thailand.
