A 5-minute drive from Miyanoura Port, Wa no Cottage Sen-no-ie offers private Japanese-style cottages surrounded by nature. Guests can enjoy playing in the water, shrimp fishing and stargazing at Shiratani River a 1-minute walk away. Wooden cottages come with a tatami (woven mat) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread for sleeping. They are equipped with a CD player, a microwave and a fridge. A washstand and en suite toilet are provided, while bathroom facilities are shared. Sen-no-ie features goemon-buro bathtubs, which are heated from below. Guests sit on a floating wooden lid in the bath. Wa-no-cottage offers laundry services and luggage storage. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Yakushima Airport, and a 20-minute drive from the breathtaking vistas of Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine (Cloud Water Valley).
