This well-established inn of only 18 rooms first opened its doors more than 130 years ago and continues to welcome guests to the North with sincere hospitality to this day. Located in the highlands of Hiraisomisaki, it stands some 60 meters above sea level and provides a sweeping view of Otaru Bay and the town, with the yacht harbor and Bay City just below. The inn's large, stone-craft open-air bath affords guests a view of Ishikari Bay as they soak in the inn's famed hot springs which are pumped from a private source.
